HNK Rijeka secured a 2:1 victory over Rudeš in the final match of the first round of SHNL at Rujević, with goals from Justas Lasickas and Daniel Adu-Adjei. Stefan Vukić scored for Rudeš after their return to SHNL.

Rijeka dominated the game from the start, controlling possession and creating opportunities around Rudeš's penalty area. Although Adu-Adjei and Mladen Devetak had some attempts, they didn't create significant chances. Gosti defended well until 27 minutes when their defense was tested.

In the 31st minute, Rijeka took control with a precise pass to Justas Lasickas who scored from left side. The lead was secured at 1:0. In the first half, Rudeš tried to press but Aleksa Todorović saved their shot by Jakov Blagaić.

Tense Finish After Rudeš's Goal

In the second half, Rijeka continued to dominate and increased their lead in the 62nd minute through a precise strike from Tiago Dantas. Stefan Vukić was brought on for Rudeš in the 70th minute and scored with a 15-meter shot into the bottom left corner, making it 2:0.

Rijeka couldn't extend their lead as Rudeš tried to equalize. Vukić scored again from 15 meters in the 78th minute, but Rijeka held on until the end of the match.
